I know I said I’d be too busy to post but I just had to share the very first ornaments I’ve made/designed. I can’t take credit for the ideas but I think they still turned out beautifully. I hope the recipients love them as much as I do!
The first two were for friends. Each ornament has their wedding invitation carefully cut up and curled to fit inside the ornament. One was held at Jamaica and had a beach theme, hence the seahorse. The other has a silver heart charm (not pictured.)

The third design/set of ornaments is a birthday/Christmas present. And I love how pretty they are not, not to mention so easy to make! All one has to do is swirl some floor wax inside the ornament, coat that floor wax with glitter and you’re done! (Well you do have to pour the excess glitter out and let it dry. But that’s pretty much it!) No glittery mess on the outside, nothing to come off in your hands. Well, except when you’re making them.![]()

I’ve got to make one of these invitation ornaments when we finally get a tree next year. These are are just the start of the ornaments I want to make. My goal is to make sure that each and every ornament on our future tree is handmade/has special meaning. I think I’m off to a good start! Now to just actually get a tree!
P.S. Here’s one more, in action:
